IB ACIO Result 2026 Final Merit List Download for 3717 Posts, Score Card & Cutoff Marks

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued the IB ACIO Final Result 2026 for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II/Executive Examination on 3rd June 2026. The applicants who appeared for the Tier-I, Tier-II and interview can now download the final result, merit list, scorecard and cutoff PDF from the official website, mha.gov.in. The final selection will be made based on the combined performance of applicants in all stages of the recruitment process. The Intelligence Bureau held the ACIO recruitment to fill 3717 vacancies across many regions. The selection process included a Tier-I Objective Exam conducted on 16th, 17th and 18th September 2025 and a Tier-II English Descriptive Paper held on 5th March 2026, followed by the interview round. On 3rd June 2026, the MHA declared the final result, and applicants can now check their qualifying status, marks and cutoff. Those whose roll numbers appear on the final merit list have been provisionally selected for the post of ACIO Grade-II/Executive and will now undergo document verification and medical examination.

The IB ACIO scorecard contains detailed marks obtained by applicants in Tier I, Tier II and interview rounds separately. Along with the final result, the MHA has also issued the category-wise cutoff marks for all stages of the recruitment. The applicants can check their individual scores by downloading the scorecard PDF from the official website. The cutoff marks are based on factors such as the number of vacancies, difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants who appeared. For the unreserved category the final cutoff is expected to be higher compared to reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC and EWS. The applicants who have scored equal to or above the prescribed cutoff marks for their respective category and have their roll number in the final merit list have been declared qualified.

Step 1> Open the official website of MHA at mha.gov.in

Step 2> On the homepage go to the What’s New or Recruitment section.

Step 3> Look for the link that says ‘IB ACIO Grade-II/Executive Final Result 2026’ or ‘Final Merit List for ACIO-II/Exe – 2025’ (dated 3rd June 2026). Click on the link to open the PDF file.

Step 4> Use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number or name in the PDF. Download the PDF and save it for future reference.

Step 5> You can also check the score card and cutoff PDF using the separate link provided on the website.

Documents Required for IB ACIO Document Verification

The applicants whose roll numbers appear in the final merit list must report for document verification with the following documents in original along with self-attested copies: class 10th certificate for date of birth proof, class 12th and graduation degree certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.), passport size photographs and domicile certificate (if required).
